My Ho-Chunk name is Moh he hump gah, which means "Light of the Earth, With a Bright Flash." I am an enrolled member of the Ho-Chunk Nation, Thunder Clan.

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign December 1998 with a BS in Leisure Studies/Recreation Management.
Current interests include: my family, volleyball, football, basketball, working out, pow wows, Ho-Chunk Nation tribal activities, and motorcycles (there are only two types of motorcycles...Harley Davidson and Indian).
The Ho-Chunk Nation was previously named the Winnebago Tribe by French explorer Jean Nicolet. In 1994 the tribe changed its name to what we had always known ourselves as, the Hochungara, or Ho-Chunk, meaning "People of the Big Voice."
